English 11 is a course designed to further your knowledge of and experience with reading, writing, speaking, and listening.  It will build off of some of the things you learned in 9th grade as well as last year with Mr. Phelan.  Primary genres studied are American and British Literature.  In addition, writing projects consisting of personal narratives, persuasive papers, compare/contrast, creative papers, a critical analysis, career report, etc. will also be included in the course curriculum. 

This course is worth two credits and lasts one full year (two semesters).
